Travelers flying into or out of Daytona Beach International Airport on Friday, Oct. 30, should plan ahead and allow additional travel time as President Donald Trump's scheduled visit to the area may result in increased traffic congestion and delays near the airport.
Although the airport's main entrance will remain open, motorists may experience delays when traveling to and from the terminal. Airport officials encourage passengers to arrive earlier than usual to allow sufficient time for potential traffic delays, parking, check-in, and security screening.
With potential road closures in the surrounding area, signs will direct motorists to the airport entrance, including designated areas for parking, passenger drop-off, and pickup. Travelers and those picking up or dropping off passengers should follow posted signs and allow additional time to reach their destinations.
Passengers should also check directly with their airlines for the latest flight information, including any schedule changes or delays, before departing for the airport.
