Daytona Beach International Airport, NASCAR partner for Daytona 500 experience The DAYTONA 500 is less than a week away, and the racing experience has already taken off at Daytona Beach International Airport.
The airport, conveniently located right across the street from the iconic Daytona International Speedway, has partnered with NASCAR to celebrate the 63rd running of The Great American Race! Race car fans and other airport visitors flying into Daytona Beach will have plenty of selfie opportunities as soon as they step into the terminal, with checkered flags decorating the concourse columns, tire themed social distance markers, a Daytona International Speedway pace car on the airport’s first floor lobby and a checkered flag themed crosswalk. “We are excited to be able to partner with NASCAR and Daytona International Speedway on this special event marketing opportunity that celebrates our destination’s largest event of the year,” said Joanne Magley, the airport’s director of marketing & customer experience.
“Just like with other major events around the country, like the World Series or the Super Bowl, travelers get to experience the excitement of NASCAR’s biggest race right after they get off of the plane, and for that event theme to continue throughout the community, said Magley.”
”The energy and excitement during the DAYTONA 500 is truly unmatched,” stated Chip Wile, President of Daytona International Speedway. “We are grateful for our incredible community partners like the Daytona Beach International Airport that not only support, but celebrate Speedweeks events as thousands of fans descend upon the Daytona Beach area to witness The Great American Race.”
The special event graphics will be on display at Daytona Beach International Airport through Feb. 15. For more information, contact Marketing & Customer Experience Director Joanne Magley at email@example.com or 386-561-7185.
