Mailback Program
When Daytona Beach International
Airport security check-point screeners make the call that a item cannot
fly onboard the aircraft, the passenger is given the option to place the
offending object in an envelope, address it, and drop it in a collection
box for pickup by the Airport. The Airport in turn pays the postage and
returns the item through the mail to the specified address at no cost to
travelers. This system, called the Mailback Program, gets the
surrendered item back to its rightful owner quickly.
