Race Day special traffic departure procedures

Departure instructions fixed wing aircraft

Taxi to nearest exit spot (see airport diagram) and STOP.
MONITOR
appropriate ground control frequency as indicated on the sign.

When you are number 1 at an exit spot ground control will contact you. Advise ground control of aircraft call sign, destination, if IFR or VFR, and current ATIS code.

MONITOR the next frequency as assigned. Taxi as instructed. Expect to depart from the runway end unless otherwise advised.

MONITOR assigned tower frequency WHEN instructed.

Departure instructions helicopters

If parked on the north side at Sheltair contact Daytona ground on 121.9. If parked on the south side at Lynch or Yelvington contact Daytona ground on 124.25. Advise of location, callsign, type aircraft, destination, if IFR or VFR, and current ATIS code.

Monitor the next frequency as assigned and follow instructions.

ALL AIRCRAFT must depart with Class C service.

Aircraft equipped with anti-collision lights should exercise courtesy while taxiing.
