January declared
"Customer Appreciation Month" at Daytona Beach International Airport
Daytona Beach International Airport is making a New Year’s resolution to
show travelers more love.
Airport officials have declared January “Customer Appreciation Month”
and are offering special deals in a show of thanks to patrons.
“We appreciate our customers’ patronage all year long, and we wanted to
make that statement loud and clear, as early as possible, in 2007,” said
Stephen Cooke, Director of Business Development at DBIA. “Passengers
trust in the quality of Airport services, and we want to express our
appreciation to the traveling public who has made the smart choice to
fly Daytona first.
“We also appreciate the dedication of our airline partners help us
improve year after year,” said Cooke.
To celebrate, the airport is offering several special promotions during
January:
- At the Airport Information
Center in January, passengers can enter to win one of four pairs of
domestic airline tickets, donated by Continental Express, Delta Air
Lines, AirTran Airways and United Express.
- Customers who park and exit
the Airport’s parking lots in January will receive a complimentary
coupon good for one week of free parking for their next flight from
DBIA. These coupons will be good until December 31, 2007.
- Complimentary coffee and
pastry coupons for the Airport restaurant will be available for
passengers from all airline ticket counters during the month.
- Free shoeshine services
will begin in January and will be available throughout 2007.
- Complimentary DBIA key
chains will be available in January from the Airport Information
Center.
- A free parking pass for
unlimited parking in the long- or short-term lot at DBIA will be

between December 21 and January 2 on Delta’s seasonal nonstop
regional jet service New York’s LaGuardia International Airport.
- Unlimited free parking
coupons will be available to AirTran passengers through AirTran’s

offering a $25 coupon toward a future ticket purchase on AirTran,
available from the parking lot exit booths during December. To use these
vouchers, air travel must be booked prior to January 31 for travel
